Preserve Our Nature

A poem by Dr. Anil Thorat

O! Man
The tiny Creature.
You are the creation of Nature.
Torture not the mighty Nature
Gloomy will be global Future

Nurture the nature and culture the beauty
To be happy and healthy it’s your duty

The triad air, Water and food
The gifts of greenery and woods

Choose the way to joy and delight
Pave the path to glory and light

Perish not the greenish gold
Preserve the woods and greenery
That’s ancient and old

Harbour the nature and harvest the happiness
Alas! you will spoil the global Future

Flourish the greenery, let the glorious glory glow
Let the winds of health breeze and blow
Let the fragrance of life spread and flow.
